Stephen's Gap entrance to Broken Bow Lake and the Beavers Bend Marina is directly catty-corner across Hwy 259. Crossing the road, it's a four minute drive to the boat ramp - or 3 minutes to the boat ramp if you drive fast. The Stephen's Gap road is where you'll find the houseboats, gas for your boat and seadoo, and the swim beach for the kiddos. This swim beach is "warm" as it is formed from the Broken Bow Lake. See below for information on the Beavers Bend swim beach.

Beavers Bend Resort Park has two entrances:
259-A South entrance is 3.3 miles south. The main entrance will take you to the swim beach, paddle boats, canoes, museum, nature center, amphitheater, tennis court, hiking trails and restaurant. The swim beach here is located where the water comes from beneath the dam and is VERY cold water. Refreshing in July and good for the trout.

259-A North entrance is 1.5 miles south. (yes the "north" entrance is south, no wonder you might be confused). This is the entrance that takes you across the Broken Bow Lake dam and is the beginning of Spillway Creek. This is Zone I of the year-round trout fishing stream on the Lower Mountain Fork River favored by fly fishermen and anglers. Live your dream vacation with a cabin at Kaniatobe Trails, about as close as you get to living on the trout stream. Did I mention it was stocked year round? I did.

Pine Meadow Cabins is located adjacent to Kaniatobe Trails as the crow flies or traveling by mountain bike. If you drive down the road, then it is 2/10 of a mile north, on your left. Their convenient location makes them ideal property managers for your cabin. Contact them to have your vacation home generate revenue for you.

Carson Creek lake access road is half-mile north. This is a good place to get to the boat ramps and some playground equipment and swimming that is less crowded than the developed amenities at the Stephen's Gap entrance.

It is .6 miles south to the Almighty Hochatown Volunteer Fire Department, here to serve you. This volunteer organization will put out the lightning or grass fires or out of control campfires. Be a neighbor, stop by, introduce yourself and give them a $50 donation. They are marketing wizards and offer the Mexican Pile On during spring break, a yard sale (great for cabin decor) and bake sale on Memorial Day weekend and old fashioned fish fry for Labor Day. If you didn't buy enough good stuff the first time, you get another chance the 2nd weekend in November at the annual craft bazaar and bake sale. For $10.00 you can purchase Volume 2 of Firehouse Favorites, recipes from community residents and cabin owners. Next year, add your family favorite recipe. Leave one in your cabin for guests to appreciate also.
